Mishal Jamal is a multidisciplinary artist and designer whose work explores the intersections of identity, culture, and memory. Born under the California sun and raised in the Bay Area, she draws from her Chinese and Pakistani heritage to blend traditional symbolism with contemporary aesthetics, creating pieces that are both personal and political.
Working across painting, printmaking, and design, Mishal embraces experimentation and intuition—balancing sleek visual language with layered storytelling. Her practice bridges art and design, merging form and function to challenge norms, evoke emotion, and spark dialogue.
A graduate of USC with a BFA in Fine Arts, she continues to build a body of work that is globally conscious, materially rich, and grounded in both beauty and purpose—inviting viewers into a deeper harmony with the world around them.
